This is a special project as I used the wool that I was going to use to make a blanket for Mila. It now is a yum pair of socks for my lovely mum. These also mean so much as I started them the day after Mila left us and they have helped keep me sane at times which is why they also took so long to get done. They would usually be a nice quick pattern so don't let the time frame turn you off if you have these on your to-do list :)
